-San Juanillo Beach is a paradise with white sand beach and crystal clear turquoise water. An amazing beach you should not miss during your holidays in Costa Rica.

-The Orange Heliconian Butterfly prior to their mating season. Males of this species congregate by the hundreds on patches of moist soil that contain mineral salts. When they cannot find such deposits, the insects visit various animals to drink salty secretions from their skin and nostrils.

-Two toed sloth have very low metabolic rates (less than half of that expected for a mammal of their size), and maintain low body temperatures when active (30–34°C or 86–93°F), and still lower temperatures when resting.

-GandocaManzanillo is a wildlife reserve and is very important from an ecological point of view because it contains the only intact mangrove swamp in the Atlantic, and the primary lowland small rainforest found here is the only one of its kind in the region.

-For Howler Monkeys, as their name suggests, vocal communication forms is an important part of their social behavior. They have an enlarged hyoid bone which helps them make their loud vocalizations. Group males generally call at dawn and dusk as well as interspersed times throughout the day. The main vocals consist of loud, deep guttural growls or “howls.” Howler monkeys are widely considered to be the loudest land animal.

Rio Celeste Waterfall is located in Tenorio National Park and is best known for his beautiful light blue waters which are caused by the emanation of sulfur and the precipitation of calcium carbonates.
