-San Juanillo Beach is a paradise with white sand beach and crystal clear turquoise water. An amazing beach you should not miss during your holidays in Costa Rica.

Rio Celeste Waterfall is located in Tenorio National Park and is best known for his beautiful light blue waters which are caused by the emanation of sulfur and the precipitation of calcium carbonates.

-Arenal Volcano is the youngest and most active of all volcanoes in Costa Rica. The Arenal volcano measures at least 1,633 meters (5,358 ft). It is conically shaped with a crater spanning 140 meters (460ft).

-Irazú Volcano is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica. His elevation is 3,432 meters (11,260 ft). He has an area of 500 km² (190 sq mi). The main crater is almost circular and has very inclined walls. It measures 1,050 meters (3,440 ft) in diameter and 300 meters (980ft) depth.

Howler Monkey lives in groups of 10 to 15 animals, with one to three adult males and multiple females. They generally move quadrupedally on the tops of branches, usually grasping a branch with at least two hands or one hand and the tail at all times. The howl of this monkey sounds very deep. The tiny blue jeans poison dart frog, also known as the strawberry poison arrow frog, is one of Costa Rica’s most colorful and iconic amphibians. As adult, a blue jeans dart frog measure between 0.75 and one inch long. The species is comprised of an estimated 15-30 color morphs.

Glass frogs are generally small, ranging from 3 to 7.5 centimeters (1.2 to 3.0 in) in length. The frog is known to eat its own young.Glass Frogs are mostly arboreal and live along rivers and streams.

In order to see this beautiful waterfall at Atelopusriver, you first have to take an adventurous ride by tractor and afterwards walk for one hour in the impressive tropical rain forest. Once you get to the waterfall you will have an extremely awesome contact to nature by swimming in the waterfall pool with is crystal clear water. You really will feel part of paradise here.

This is a very typical scene where the calf takes first some milk from the cow, afterwards it will be taken away for a while and the farmer begins to milk the cow, all thistypically with his hands as you see in the picture.

-The White-Throated Magpie-Jay is a species that has a particularly long tail and a slightly curved crest of feathers on the head. The crest is black in the nominate race, but has blue or white margins on the other two subspecies.

-Toucan, their shape, brilliant coloring, and tropical quintessence make them one of the most popular “poster animals” for the tropical forests of the Americas and most visitors want to see them.

-Sloths have short, flat heads; big eyes; a short snout; long legs; and tiny ears. They also have stubby tails, usually 6–7 cm long. Altogether, sloths’ bodies usually are anywhere between 50 and 60 cm long.

-Orange HeliconianButterfly feed primarily on the nectar of flowers and bird droppings. Its caterpillaralso feeds on passion vines. It is generally found in lowland tropical fields and valleys.

-White nosed coatis are omnivores, preferring small vertebrates, fruits, carrion, insects, and eggs. They can climb trees easily, where the tail is used for balance, but most often they are on the ground foraging for food.

They need to be careful not to eat too much of certain species of mature leaf in one sitting, as some of the leaves they eat contain toxins that can poison the monkey. Howler monkeys are also known to occasionally raid bird nests and chicken coops and consume the eggs.

- Glass Frogs are mostly arboreal and live along rivers and streams. The eggs ofthe Glass Frogs are usually deposited on the leaves of trees or shrubs hanging over the running water of mountain streams, creeks, and small rivers. One species leave its eggs over stones close to waterfalls.

Toucans are gregarious forest birds, usually observed in flocks of 3 to 12 birds. They follow each other in strings from one tree to another, usually staying in the high canopy (a toucan only occasionally flies down to feed at shrubs, or to pluck a snake or a lizard from the forest floor). The birds are playful, grasping each other’s bills in apparent contests, and tossing fruit to each other.
